That's a really gorgeous sweater, and yay for 4ply too. I love heavier weight colourwork sweaters but they are so warm that I don't wear them so often. A lighter weight is far more wearable for me 💖

Definitely! It's taken me this long to learn that lesson but I know now! I'm thinking I might hold 4ply double with mohair next time, to make it more enjoyable to knit. I figured it wouldn't change the weight too much and you'd get that fuzzy halo I love so much with mohair!

Fabulous sweater and I almost thought I might buy the pattern and give it a try until I read it was 4ply. Not sure I could get through all that stockinette in a fine yarn!

Great sweater. I love a colour work yoke, but as you say the rest of the garment can be tedious. And 4ply!! That's a real marathon! I like your idea of double thickness neck and wrist rib, I shall steal it. I do find the neck rib on colour work sweaters do feel a bit feeble compared with the yolk. Yolk? Yoke!!!

Steal away! I love how they look and feel to wear!

That's very kind, thank you!

Love your sweater! I agree. Thinner yarn weights as well as some fiber blends make more sense for layering.

It's just a shame they're more of a pain to knit 😂

This is so beautiful, and it looks so soft. I made a different colour work yoke jumper by the same designer in Lopi, I love it but it is very thick!

I love Lopi but I find the thickness really restricts when I can wear that weight of sweater. It's just so nice to knit tho!
