Thank you! I love recycling unfinished projects from other craftspeople, it always makes me sad when you see half-complete projects in charity shops so it's nice to give them purpose.
I can't leave anything unfinished. If a project isn't working for me, I usually rip it back and knit something else with the yarn, anything to get it gone from my current projects. I'm currently knitting dishcloths with a lovely 4ply cotton/linen mix. Expensive dishcloths, but they will be used!
I'm totally with you, I would much rather finish or ditch a project, than leave it incomplete. A lot of what I thrift from charity shops and car boot sales I suspect comes from house clearances after people pass away. It's a nice way to honour a fellow craftsperson, to use their unfinished project I think.
