Brilliant! They look great. I've had my Arizona Birks (the original slider style) for over 20 years and they're still going strong apart from a bit of cork disintegration at the heel. Nowadays I wear them everyday in the house as my slippers and there is years of wear left in them. Those sandals will last for ever!
Ooo can you share the video you followed for cleaning? I have been grossed out lately by my Birks and would love to clean them up. I have the same style as you!

Annoyingly, I just went back to find the video and apparently I didn't save it 🤦🏻♂️
Here's what I did though:
- mix 2 tbsp baking powder with 2 tbsp dish soap plus 1 tbsp water - it should make a thick paste
- use an old toothbrush to scrub this mixture all over the girls footbed and sole
- wash off with a damp cloth or run under the tap, trying not to let the water soak into the shoe too much
- clean the leather straps with leather conditioner, leave for 5 mins (or whatever the instructions on the bottle say!) then wipe off
- leave in the sunlight to dry for 24hrs
Thank you so much for typing out all that! 🩷
No worries! I just reread it and realised autocorrect made 'birks' into 'girls', haha!
